Start Here — Buyer Guide

Set up your site in about an hour.

This page is not part of the public site — it’s a working reference for you, the buyer. Everything below explains how this template’s content model fits together and exactly what to change before you publish. Delete or unlist this page once you’re done.

The content model, in one picture

Locations → Treatments (multi-reference: which treatments are offered at this location)

Providers → Locations (multi-reference: which locations this dentist practices at)

Providers → Treatments (multi-reference: which treatments this dentist provides)

There are no reverse fields stored anywhere. Every “offered here” or “provided by” list on the site (Location Detail, Treatment Detail, Provider Detail) is a live filter reading these three reference fields — so you only ever edit the relationship in one place.

The 12-step setup guide

01

Change brand basics

Update the wordmark text inside the shared Navigation component and the brand name/blurb in the footer (Site Layout template) — one edit updates every page. Then set your real phone number, booking URL, and site title/favicon in Framer’s project settings.

02

Add or edit a location

Open the Locations collection. Fill in Name, Number (“01”–“06”), Area, Address, Phone, Hours, Description, Amenities, Image, Booking URL, Phone Link, and Directions Link. The Location Detail page assembles itself from these fields automatically.

03

Add or edit a provider

Open the Providers collection. Fill in Name, Role, Credentials, Bio, Languages, and Photo, then set the Locations and Treatments reference fields to control where each dentist appears across the site.

04

Add or edit a treatment

Open the Treatments collection. Category, Short Description, Content, Pricing Note, and Icon drive the Treatment Detail hero plate automatically — pick a new Lucide icon per treatment and the layout adapts, no design work needed.

05

Understand CMS relationships

See the diagram above. Locations and Providers each hold a multi-reference to Treatments; Providers also reference Locations. Edit the reference field once and every list that depends on it updates everywhere.

06

Connect your booking URLs

Every “Book a visit” button on the site currently points at one placeholder URL. Replace it site-wide with your real scheduling link, then check the individual Booking URL fields on Locations and Providers for location- or provider-specific scheduling pages.

07

Add a new location without breaking anything

Duplicate an existing Locations item, give it the next Number, and fill in its own fields. Then open any Provider or Treatment that should reference it and add it to their Locations/Treatments field — nothing else needs to change.

08

Customize insurance & payment content

The Insurance & Payment and Membership & Financing pages are plain text and icon tiles, not CMS data — edit the copy directly on those two pages. Every insurer name, price, and percentage shown is a placeholder.

09

Edit Jobs, Insights, and Stories

These three collections work exactly like Locations and Treatments. Open a collection, edit or add items, and the Careers, Resources, and Patient Stories pages update automatically — no page edits required.

10

Replace every fictional or demo claim

Search the site for the word “demo” — each instance marks a number, price, or claim invented for this template (membership pricing, self-pay discount, About page statistics). Replace each with your real, verifiable figures.

11

Update the legal placeholders

Privacy, Terms, and Accessibility are structured starting points, not finished legal documents. Each shows a visible notice saying so — replace the content with copy reviewed by a qualified attorney, then remove the notice box.

12

Publish checklist

Real booking URL everywhere · real phone numbers and addresses · legal pages reviewed · demo pricing replaced · favicon and site metadata set · this page unlisted or removed · your 404 page set in Framer’s project settings · every nav and footer link tested.
